The E2-XTM Single outlet system:

The most in-depth mix of flow dynamics and air/oil separation combined to provide the most effective non-centrifuge system to date.

The E2-X utilizes a unit sized to properly allow for the CFM of flow of today's PCV systems that allows for the speed of flow through to slow to the point of not only allowing the suspended liquids to separate fall, but also prevents liquid droplets from being "pulled through" and out as most other cans allow. The Patent Pending internal design directs the liquid laden vapors from the PCV system through 3 separate chambers with optimized coalescing, condensing, and baffle separation as each step separates and removes not only suspended oil mist, but also un-burnt fuel, sulfuric acid, and the abrasive carbon and soot particles that contribute to premature engine wear and the intake valve coking issues that plague ALL of today's Direct Injection gasoline engines resulting in the prevention of intake valve deposits, longer engine life, increased fuel economy (due to the reduction in ignition timing through knock-retard) and reduced tail-pipe emissions.

Unlike most "catch cans" on the market that only trap a small portion of these compounds allowing most to still pass through and contaminate the intake air charge, the advanced technology of the E2-X separators trap and retain up to 95% plus of these compounds and while most cans only trap oil for the most part, the E2-X goes further in trapping the other damaging combustion by-products. The added capacity of 12 oz's vs some popular cans with 1.5-2 oz's allows most to go 5k miles before needing to be emptied (all engines are different, so check at 1000 mile to determine your engines fill rate), especially in cold winter climates.

  3. A completely separate outlet chamber where the flow for the 4th time slows to allow any remaining droplets to fall from suspension allowing the cleanest vapors possible to exit.
  4. Easy to drain high quality chrome plated brass 1/4 turn ball valves with provisions to add remote drain hose.
  5. Billet aluminum low cracking pressure check valve to prevent any back flow during heavy acceleration.
  6. Universal billet clamp that allows most any mounting configuration.

  9. No "mixing" of the incoming oil/etc. laden vapors from the cleaned separated outgoing flow at any time during its passage through the system.

No pollution or increased engine wear from a "vented" or "breather" system that is NOT street legal. No defeating the critical functions of the PCV system (it performs several critical functions to prevent premature engine wear and failure, far more than just a pollution control device as many assume). The E2-X single outlet system is recommended for those with a Naturally Aspirated engine that is not raced or driven hard and roots style (top mount) Supercharged vehicles that are not raced or driven hard. The E2-XTM Dual outlet system:

All the features of the E2-X single outlet and more! A must for the aggressively driven NA or roots style SC vehicle, and all forms of turbo or centrifugal super charging where the intake manifold becomes pressurized by boost and a secondary evacuation suction source is needed. The dual valve addresses crankcase pressure building due to lack of intake manifold vacuum under acceleration and intake manifold drops to zero due to reversion pules that occur under acceleration by always providing a near constant evacuation and flush flow through the crankcase without venting to the atmosphere. The dual outlet series allows the user to tap into the suction available pre-throttle body to take over the evacuation when under acceleration on NA engines and top mount SC engines, or the turbo/Centrifugal SC inlet for those that have not found a suitable solution for the unique requirements for proper crankcase evacuation, avoiding pressure buildup in the crankcase, and wanting to maintain emissions compliance for street use WITHOUT sacrificing the longevity and durability of your engine as the "Vented" or "Breather" solution do. Do it right, or don't do it at all!!

    I've installed a few Elite catch cans on different vehicles. They work very well. My latest install was an E2X on my 2020 Camaro SS 1LE. I mounted it to the front of the engine where the sound synthesizer used to be. I had to drill the hole larger in the bracket for this to work. For the second exit from the can, I bought a 1in barbed irrigation plug from the hardware store and drilled and tapped it for the supplied fitting. This goes in the air intake where the sound tube used to be. It turned out nice, and easy to drain. Highly recommend for direct injected engines!

    Best catch can on the market. I have bought 3 of these for different builds. Spend the money on this and don't waste your time on cheaper options.

    Have one on my Chevy 2014, smooth idle and clean intake valves for 2 years. Easy to install and maintain. Bought this same can for the LS1 corvette.

    Excellent customer service. There was a packing mixup in the kit (missing some hardware) but Steve corrected amazingly fast! I got the missing parts THE NEXT DAY! Install went as planned and the kit was high quality and fits nicely

    Did a lot of research and even considered designing my own system, but the E2-X Catch Can certainly ticked all the boxes for me when it cam to a well engineered product for a single turbo LS Engine. Product is well made and there is no compromise in the products they use. Even the venting hoses are Continental branded.

    I have had ordered the Elite Engineering E2-X catch can for multiple vehicles. The first OCC kit i bout was installed on my 2016 Chevy Silverado 5.3 V8. Two of my friends asked me to order them the same kit for their 2016 Chevy Tahoe's , as soon as i showed them what the OCC has catched that would have eventualy re-entered the engine. They saw the true potential of the E2-X catch can's work of catching the blow-by gasses. There is always collection of oil & fuel blow-by even after driving the vehicle for a merely short distance. 500-1000 km (300-600 miles). The collective liquid is a mix of oil, fuel & water condensation. Since i live in Kuwait which is known for it's dry & hot climate. In colder climates, there will be much more water condensation with the oil. If you are reading this, I truly advise that you buy an Elite Engineering catch can for your vehicle. I have been amazed on how much blow-by junk was saved from going back into the engine via the PVC system.

    Great at catching oil, but drainage valve leaks vacuum and oil

    Everything works great as far as catching oil. The oil cap Clean Side Seperator seems to be working as it should as well, no oil in that tube, yet. I found the can drain valve will not stay closed which makes it leak both vacuum and oil. I had to purchase a 3/8" threaded plug for the valve piece. I tried tightening the screw holding the valve handle in place and could not tighten it any more than it was out of the box. I would recommend installing a higher quality drain valve or including a 3/8" tapered thred drain plug with the kit. I haven't reseseched if this is a common issue, however, it definitely was with mine. I would also recommend including a couple 3/8" "T" fittings as my setup required two. Otherwise, happy with my purchase and looks of the install.

    You'll be surprised on how much oil is caught

    Catch cans do work. At a recent weekend at the track, this catch can collected about 6oz of liquid. It's not pure oil, as my oil level never dropped. Does take some time to install properly.
